Arena Joondaluip & Aquatic Centre
Arena Joondalup is located in the City of Joondalup, 25km from Perth and is the largest multi-purpose sport, recreation and entertainment facility in Western Australia. Arena Joondalup is a super complex with many facilities including an outdoor sports ground which can host Australian Football, Rugby League, and Soccer; an indoor arena which can host sports such as Basketball and Netball; a Swimming complex; and a Hockey facility. The outdoor sports ground has a modern grandstand, with a 16,000 capicity and a wonderful grass hill surrounding the remaining perimeter of the ground. The arena is well lit by quality lighting. Joondalup Arena is home to the West Perth FC, which plays in the WAFL and relocated north to the venue in a bold, yet exciting move several years ago. Joondalup Aquatic Centre Arena’s Aquatic Centre has something for everyone. For competitive swimmers, the 50m pool comprises 10 lanes and graduates from 1.2m to 2m in depth. It is heated to 26.5 degrees which is ideal for training In the colder months. If you enjoy a recreational swim, we have dedicated lanes for the public at various speeds, so even if you’re not an Olympic swimmer, you can still enjoy a leisurely swim in the competition pool.
The Leisure Pool is perfect for a splashing good time, It features three 25m lanes, is heated to 28.5 degrees, and has a beach entry which graduates to 1.2m maximum depth, ideal for everyone from babies to adults and people with special needs, Go for a whirl in the Lazy River, or accelerate through the darkness on the 42m water slide before splashing to safety In the warmth of the pool.
